Podrška prijema Srbije u ЕU
U okviru svojih redovnih diplomatskih aktivnosti, ambasadorka Republike Kipar Nafsika Krousti, boravila je u Požarevcu i tom prilikom, pored ostalog, iskazala podršku svoje zemlje prijemu Srbije u članstvo ЕU. Posle obilaska kulturnih i istorijskih znamenitosti, gradonačelnik Požarevca Miomir Ilić je upriličio prijem u svečanoj sali Gradskog zdanja za ambasadorku Krousti, poželevši joj dobrodošlicu i prijatan boravak u našem gradu, iskoristivši priliku da je upozna sa turističkim, privrednim i ekonomskim potencijalima Požarevca i Braničevskog okruga.
Inače, ambasadorki Krousti je ovo jedna od prvih poseta nekom od gradova Srbije s obzirom da je u našoj zemlji na funkciji ambasadora tek šest meseci. Pre toga je predstavljala svoju zemlju u Indiji, Poljskoj i Litvaniji.
-Vrlo sam počastvovana i privilegovana da služim svojoj zemlji u izuzetno prijateljskoj zemlji kao što je Srbija“, kazala je NJena ekselencija Krousti i dodala da se, pored ostalog, Kipar zalaže za što skorije priključivanje Srbije Еvropskoj uniji.
Support for Serbia’s admission to EU
As part of its regular diplomatic activities, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus Nafsika Krousti, was in Pozarevac and on this occasion, among others, expressed his country’s support of Serbia’s admission to the EU. After visiting cultural and historical sites, the mayor of Pozarevac Miomir Ilic hosted a reception in the conference hall of the City buildings for Ambassador Krousti, wishing her a warm welcome and a pleasant stay in our city, taking advantage of the opportunity to meet with tourism, commercial and economic potential of Pozarevac Branicevo districts.
Otherwise, Ambassador Krousti this is one of the first visit of a Serbian towns since it is in our country, the position of ambassador only six months. Before that, he represented his country in India, Poland and Lithuania.
