National Museum Pozarevac

The National Museum is a museum complex institution, founded in 1895th year and its collections are housed in five buildings. The main museum building (Voje Dulic 10) during the preparation of a new permanent exhibition on which will be represented and prehistoric archaeological objects, ancient, medieval and Viminacium collection. Among the many valuable exhibits special place belongs to frescoes fresco painted tombs from Viminacium and the emblem of Viminacium, a silver jewelry store in the village of Bare, as well as items made from all kinds of metal (bronze, silver, gold, lead, iron), glass, bone, glass paste, clay, marble. The collections are collections of jewelry, weapons (made of metal, stone), tools, tableware (glass, metal, clay), fibula, lamps, etc.. 

In the courtyard of the same building and lapidarium which includes sculptures, stelae, sarcophagi, architectural plastic parts, columns and capitals. Gallery memorial collection of Miodrag Markovic (Voje Dulic 12) exhibits paintings on permanent display. Some of the artists whose paintings are in the collection are: John Bijelic, Milan Konjovic, Zora Petrovic Ljubica Sokic, Pedja Milosavljevic etc. In the Museum of Cultural History (Nemanjina 9), in a civil house, there is an ethnological exhibition civic culture of the late 19th and early 20 century. In the “Kuci Dobrnjcevih” with a part of historical collections (“Pozarevacki mir”, I and II Serbian Uprising).  Museum publishes Viminacium, since 1986. and so far has produced 15 issues.
