Funkcioneri lokalne samouprave grada požarevca posetili su rekonstruisanu i restauriranu zgradu nekadašnje kafane „Bulevar“ koja spada među najstarije očuvane objekte u varoši. U ovaj objekat, čije renoviranje je počelo prošlog maja, do kraja meseca bi trebalo da se usele komunalna policija i komunalna inspekcija. Do sada je iz budžeta grada uloženo oko 18,7 miliona dinara za rekonstrukciju zgrade koja je godinama bila prepuštena propadanju.
Objekat Bulevar trebalo je da bude završen prošle godine, ali se u međuvremenu došlo na ideju da se adaptira spratni prostor što je prolongiralo radove. Saša Isaković iz Direkcije za izgradnju kaže da će kompletno uređenje objekta i prostora biti završeno naredne godine. Preostalo je da se uredi podrumski prostor sa nastrešnicom, postavi ulazna kapija a pre zime uvede grejanje što će koštati dodatnih oko 3,3 miliona dinara. Za ovaj objekat grad je dobio 2 miliona dinara od Ministarstva za lokalnu samoupravu iz sredstava od priređivanja igara na sreću. Novac je utrošen na nabavku kancelarijskog nameštaja i računara. Isaković je novinarima rekao da je rešen problem sa prokišnjavanjem koji se pojavio na delu nove krovne konstrukcije.
Gradonačelnik Miomir Ilić je rekao da bi komunalna policija u novu zgradu trebalo da se useli veoma skoro a komunalna inspekcija naredne sedmice.Local government officials have visited Pozarevac reshuffled the restored building of the former restaurant „Boulevard“, which is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the town.
