Nakon dugog niza godina, završena je rekonstrukcija dečjeg dispanzera Doma zdravlja i savetovališta za bebe u Požarevcu. Rekonstrukcija prostorija u odeljenju, nabavka nameštaja i opreme koštali su oko 3 miliona dinara a veći deo sredstava je prikupljen donatorskom akcijom lokalne samouprave i Doma zdravlja. Direktor Doma zdravlja LJubiša Jovanović kaže da će na ovaj način nivo pružanja zdravstvenih usluga biti u značajnoj meri unapređen i najavio rekonstrukciju školskog dispanzera. Novcem prikupljenim donacijama, do sada su obnovljene i opremljene službe hitne pomoći u Požarevcu i Kostolcu.

Gradonačelnik Požarevca Miodrag Milosavljević, izrazio je uverenje da će lokalna samouprava i u narednom četvorogodišnjem periodu pružiti podršku za dalju rekonstrukciju i što savremenije opremanje Doma zdravlja.

U Domu zdravlja otkrivena i spomen ploča posvećena dr Miomiru Brankoviću, osnivaču dečjeg dispanzera.
