Požarevac – Decenijske veze između Požarevca i Iraklije u Grčkoj krunisane su potpisivanju Sporazuma o raznovrsnoj saradnji. U gradskom zdanju Požarevca, potpisnici Sporazuma su bili Miodrag Milosavljević gradonačelnik Požarevca, Jorgos Kucakis predsednik Opštinske korporacije Iraklije i Nikos Gogas predsednik Skupštine Iraklije. Sporazum je uvod u bratimljenje ova dva grada i odnosi se na kulturnu, obrazovnu i sportsku saradnju. Nakon uspostavljanja ovih veza, očekuje se i privredna saradnja.
Potpisivanje sporazuma
Sporazum će omogućiti bolji životni standard u Požarevcu i Irakliji, rekao je nakon potpisivanja Miodrag Milosavljević:
-Sedamdesetih godina 20. veka delegacija Iraklije posetila je naš grad povodom događaja od 1916 – 1918. godine kada je oko 9.500 stanovnika tog područija naselilo Požarevac i okolna sela u Petrovcu, Svilajncu i drugim gradovima našeg okruženja. Posle toga, otprilike trideset godina nije bilo nikakve saradnje između Iraklije i Požarevca, da bi nas pre dve godine posetila jedna zvanična delegacija. Narod iz Iraklije zahvalan je Požarevcu i Požarevljanima kao i građanima ostalih mesta koji su im bili dobri domaćini i pružili im utočište tokom dve godine koliko su trajala ratna razaranja njihovih ognjišta. U oktobru prošle godine delegacija našeg grada posetila je Irakliju, rekao je Milosavljević i najavio izdavanje jedne publikacije o tom periodu s obzirom da postoje zabeležena svedočanstva o tom vremenu.
Predsednik skupštine grada Požarevca Miomir Ilić rekao je ovom prilikom da srpski i grčki narod povezuje duga istorija, ali i golgote kroz koje su prolazili za vreme ratova.
Gosti i domaćini u poseti Еrgeli „LJubičevo“
Požarevac je grad koji je bratimljen sa Janjinom, odakle gro stanovnika iz Požarevca ima poreklo, ima saradnju sa gradom Katarinom iz okruga Solun i sada činimo ono što je trebalo učiniti mnogo ranije, i to je produbljivanje saradnje sa Iraklijom. Nadam se da ćemo uspostaviti i proširiti saradnju na svim poljima, a pre svega na privrednom, kulturnom i sportskom, rekao je Ilić.
Kod Vladike Ignjatija
Predstavnici grčkog grada Iraklije zahvalili su na pomoći i dobročinstvu pruženom grčkom narodu tokom Prvog svetskog rata i najavili skorašnje bratimljenje sa Požarevcom.
Svečanosti su ispred grada Požarevca prisustvovali zamenica gradonačelnika Vukica Vasić, zamenici predsednika Skupštine Violeta Tomić i Milić Jovanović, narodni poslanik Žarko Pivac i član gradskog veća Miroljub Manojlović.Pozarevac – a decade of relationships between Heraclius and Pozarevac in Greece were crowned with the signing of a cooperation. The city building Pozarevac Treaty signatories were the mayor of Pozarevac Miodrag Milosavljevic, Jorgos Kucakis President of Heraclius and Nikos Gogas President of Assembly of Heraclius. -Seventies of the 20th century Heraclius delegation visited our city on events from 1916 – 1918. when it was around 9,500 residents of the areas settled Pozarevac and surrounding villages in Petrovac, Svilajnac and other cities. After that, about thirty years there has been no cooperation between Heraclius and Pozarevac until today when an official delegation visited us. The people of Heraclius was grateful to Pozarevac and citizens of other places that they were great hosts and gave them shelter during the two years since the ravages of war took their homes. In October last year, our delegation visited the city Iraklija, Milosavljevic said and announced the granting of any publications on this period as there are recorded testimonies of those times.
The President of Pozarevac Miomir Ilic said on this occasion that the Serbian and Greek people associated long history, but suffering through which they passed through during the war.
Pozarevac is a city with brotherhood Janjina, where gro population originated from Pozarevac, a collaboration with the town of Katherine in the district of Thessaloniki and is now doing what should have been done much earlier, and to the deepening of cooperation with Heraclius. I hope we can establish and expand cooperation in all fields, especially in the economic, cultural and sport, said Ilic.
Representatives of the Greek city of Heraclius were thanked for their help and charity with the provided Greek people during World War II, and announced the recent twinning with Pozarevac.
The ceremony was in front of Pozarevac attended by Deputy Mayor Vukica Vasic, Vice President of the Assembly Violeta Tomic and Milica Jovanovic, deputy Zarko Pivac and City Council member Miroljub Manojlovic.
