Imena i prezimena 180 poginulih vojnika ni do danas nisu poznata.
To pokazuje koliko, ustvari, Požarevljani vole umetnost i kulturu.
Narodni poslanik Žarko Pivac i gradonačelnik, Miodrag Milosavljević, uručili su slike, darove Udruženja likovnih stvaralaca „Đura Jakšić“, direktoru Ruskog doma, rukovodiocu umetničkog programa, Udruženju srpsko-kubanskog prijateljstva i ambasadorki Kube.Under the auspices of Pozarevac, organized by the Agency for educational – pedagogical service „Kodeks“ and the Cultural Center, the Russian House in Belgrade, opened an exhibition of paintings titled „Love and understanding.“
These works of art were created on the same International Colony, organized to commemorate the tragic deceased journalist Mile Veljkovic on where a large number of artists from the country and the world.
– For liberation of Pozarevac killed 25 Russian soldiers. In 1962. from Majdanpek to Mladenovac, in the Memorial – Ossuary on Cacalica transferred to the dead skeletons of 441 Red Army soldiers. Names and surnames of 180 soldiers killed are still not known. Five years later, in the area of Memorial Park of Cacalica, the Soviet Union, delivered and planted 441 birch. During the bombing, damaged 300, which together with our friends from Russia in 2007. , again planted in this area, reminded Pivac.
Besides Cacalica, Pozarevac has still something to be proud of what other cities does not have, and it is the largest gallery in the Balkans, which is located under the roof of the Agency for pedagogical – educational services „Kodeks“. For years here with the Association of Fine Artists „Djura Jaksic“, which brings together hundreds of academic and amateurs from Serbia and from all over: from Russia, India, Mexico, Bulgaria, Japan, Croatia, Slovenia … In a series of activities of this Association are noted for their artistic colony of an international character „Love and understanding“ and „Balkane moj“. Painting works which arise within these colonies represent the public at exhibitions such as the latter was organized in the Russian home.
The honor to open the exhibition went to the mayor of Pozarevac, Miodrag Milosavljevic:
– I am proud that I was born and I live in the city, which was created in the history of Serbia. For those who do not know, in Pozarevac was formed first Nahian Court („Nahijski sud“), established the first Guard Military Academy and first … This means that we, somehow, the creators of government, the monarchy had already Obrenovic dynasty. More of something we were familiar. By the number of pianos, Pozarevac was on the second place, behind Belgrade. It shows how, in fact, citizens of Pozarevac love art and culture. I think that we are one of the few cities, which a lot of energy and money invested in culture and in order to preserve cultural heritage and the arts … I am glad today to enjoy these works of art, as we have enjoyed three years ago, when the city Pozarevac gave to Belgrade an exhibition of paintings, famous painter Milena Pavlovic Barili, noted Milosavljevic.
Many art lovers welcomed by the owner of Pozarevac Agency’s „Kodeks“ and founder of the Association of Visual Artists „Djura Jaksic“, Snezana Milosevic:
-Thank you all, why I wept, without them I would never laugh. Thanks to all who have destroyed my pride, without them I would never be what I am.Thanks to all who have come and gone from my life, gave a little, and took away a lot. Without them I learned to appreciate many things in life. Thank you, you’re here tonight, said Milosevic.
Festive atmosphere in the home contributed to the Russian actors Lepomir Ivkovic and members of the dance studio „Bolero“. After their show was followed by the award of special recognition to organizations and individuals by the organizers of the exhibition.
