„Prema suncu, Balkane moj“„To the Sun, my Balcan“

Međunarodna, retrospektivna izložba slika pod nazivom „Prema suncu, Balkane moj“ otvorena je u Gradskoj galeriji Požarevca. Uz podršku grada Požarevca, inicijator i glavni organizator ove kulturne manifestacije, koja je okupila veliki broj ljubitelja umetnosti među kojima su bili i brojni predstavnici javnog, političkog i kulturnog života Požarevca i okoline, je Agencija za obrazovno-pedagoške usluge „Kodeks“ čija je tradicionalna kolonija za četiri godine postojanja okupila više od 400 slikara iz zemlje i sa svih svetskih meridijana. Suorganizatori izložbe su Udruženje likovnih stvaralaca „Đura Jakšić“ i Udruženje srpsko-grčkog prijateljstva „Most“. Ocenjujući ovu prezentaciju inspiracije i stvaralaštva, oni koji su se obratili gostima imali su puna usta hvale pa izdvajamo samo neke delove njihovih navoda.

Otvarajući izložbu, gradonačelnik Požarevca, Miodrag Milosavljević je posebno istakao da ga ispunjava zadovoljstvo što ovaj grad sa svim svojim zanimljivostima i kulturno istorijskim vrednostima predstavlja inspiraciju slikarima širom sveta.

Direktor Narodnog muzeja Milorad Đorđević je rekao da je Požarevac mnogo dobio otvaranjem jednog ovakvog prostora namenjenog izlaganju umetničkih ostvarenja a da ova izložba svedoči o značajnom kulturnom bogatstvu Balkana.

Sreto Bošnjak istoričar umetnost i umetnički kritičar je izgovorio poruku: „Čovek je spreman za lepotu i taj čovek ima pravo da bude lep“.

Direktorka „Kodeksa“, Snežana Milošević je jednostavno kazala: -Ovo je i moj dar voljenom gradu Požarevcu, Braničevskom okrugu i svima kojima prava umetnost leži na srcu“.
